The WRHSAC has purchased on-scene CO-Oximeters and distributed them to fire and EMS departments throughout the region. On-scene oximeters allow immediate assessment of carbon monoxide poisoning to first responders and victims. The oximeters assist with triage assessment, treatment approach, and scene assessment.
