Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions Virtual Workshop

We‘ve all had a crash course in non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPI) due to the COVID-19 pandemic through the use of masks, social distancing and stay at home orders. But did you know there are NPI’s applicable to all emergency incidents from severe winter snowstorms to a tractor trailer rollover to other biological threats? Do you really know what an NPI is?

WRHSAC has created the Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions Quick Implementation Guide and is conducting a virtual workshop to help you understand what constitutes an NPI, why they are important, how to use the Quick Implementation Guide and best practices for making decisions regarding NPI implementation and assessing both the cost and effectiveness of NPI strategy chosen.

The webinar workshop will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 10:00am to noon. Public Health subject matter experts will present in-depth information on the different types of NPI, when is the best time to use them, NPI decision matrix based on effectiveness, cost (both economic and social), review of WRHSAC’s NPI Quick Implementation Guide and ample time for questions and answers.

The workshop will be recorded and be available via WRHSAC’s website.
